Earth works finished

Went for a visit after dinner to see where they got to today. Looks like all the earth works are finished. I can't believe how high the front of the house will be off the street, I couldn't visualise it before they started.

All level now

Went by the block after work and found a guy busy levelling the ground. Whoo hoo, I guess you can say it's now finally under way!


This lot was taken between 4:30PM and 5:30PM on the 27/01/09









These were taken around 8:00PM. No I didn't hang around all that time. Was hungry so went home for dinner then came back.






They certainly cut deeper than expected so will definitely need a retaining wall of some sort at top and bottom.

New toy...

I bought a new camera a couple of weeks ago and have been playing around with the photo stitching software that came with it.

The first is a 180 degree panorama taken from the rear of the block and is made up of 23 individual images all stiched together.



The second is taken from the other back corner of the block and is made up of 4 shots stiched together.
